Terms & Conditions – Sunbright Blinds

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all products and services supplied by Sunbright Blinds (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, the customer (“you”, “your”) agrees to be bound by the terms set out below.

2. Made‑to‑Measure Products

All blinds, shutters, awnings, and related window coverings supplied by Sunbright Blinds are made to measure based on the exact specifications provided during the survey or supplied by the customer.

Because these products are manufactured specifically for your property, they cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled once production has begun.

3. Orders & Deposits

3.1 An order is only confirmed once a deposit has been paid.

3.2 All deposits are strictly non‑refundable, regardless of any subsequent cancellation by the customer.

3.3 Deposits cover administrative, survey, and manufacturing costs associated with made‑to‑measure products.

3.4 The remaining balance must be paid in full upon completion of installation or prior to delivery if installation is not required.

4. Measurements & Surveys

4.1 If Sunbright Blinds carries out the survey, we take responsibility for the accuracy of measurements.

4.2 If the customer provides measurements, the customer accepts full responsibility for their accuracy.

4.3 Any alterations required due to incorrect customer measurements will incur additional charges.

5. Manufacturing & Lead Times

5.1 Lead times are estimates only and may vary depending on supplier availability, material choice, or external factors outside our control.

5.2 Delays in manufacturing or delivery do not entitle the customer to cancel the order or request a refund of any deposit paid.

6. Installation

6.1 Installation dates are agreed in advance but may be subject to change.

6.2 The customer must ensure the installation area is accessible and free from obstruction.

6.3 Any additional work required due to unforeseen site conditions may incur extra charges.

7. Product Warranty

7.1 All products come with a standard manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship.

7.2 The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, improper cleaning, or alterations by third parties.

7.3 Repairs or replacements outside the warranty period may be chargeable.

8. Cancellations

8.1 Orders for made‑to‑measure products cannot be cancelled once production has started.

8.2 Deposits remain non‑refundable under all circumstances.

8.3 If the customer cancels after manufacturing has begun, the full balance may still be payable.

9. Liability

9.1 Sunbright Blinds is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the supply or installation of our products.

9.2 Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

10. Payment Terms

10.1 Final payment is due immediately upon completion of installation.

10.2 Failure to pay may result in legal action and additional recovery costs.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
